University Students to Serve as Uttar Pradesh Campus Brand Ambassadors

Lucknow: University students from across Uttar Pradesh have pledged to become Campus Brand Ambassadors to promote awareness about government initiatives, youth opportunities and the state’s evolving development model. The commitment was made during the ‘UP Rise 2026: Samvad, Sankalp, Safalta’ programme, jointly organised by the Uttar Pradesh Department of Information and Public Relations and a private media group.

The event brought together students from universities and colleges across the state to discuss entrepreneurship, skill development, innovation, startups and digital communication. Participants expressed confidence that Uttar Pradesh has emerged as a major destination for investment, employment and entrepreneurship, creating new opportunities for young people.

A key focus of the programme was the growing influence of social media in disseminating accurate information and connecting citizens with government welfare schemes. Students resolved to use digital platforms responsibly to spread awareness about public initiatives and encourage greater youth participation in development programmes.

The event also featured inspirational sessions where students shared their personal journeys and career aspirations. Discussions highlighted the importance of scholarships, skill development, startup support and women’s empowerment initiatives in expanding opportunities for young people.

Participants also praised initiatives such as Mission Shakti, Drone Didi, Lakhpati Didi and women-led self-help groups, noting their contribution to financial inclusion and rural entrepreneurship. Students said they would use their role as Campus Brand Ambassadors to inform fellow students about educational, employment and entrepreneurial opportunities available in the state, while encouraging greater civic participation and responsible digital engagement.
